Andrew Palmer is Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director of Strategy of NHS Norfolk and Waveney ICB.

Andrew was previously Director of System Planning and Transformation and has worked in the NHS for 22 years, with previous experience in education and the private sector. He started his career in health with the Cancer Network. Since then, he has undertaken a number of senior roles including Deputy CEO for an Acute Hospital and has held various Director portfolios including Strategy, Performance, Digital, Workforce and Transformation. 

Andrew says: “It has been a privilege to have been in a system-wide role for the last 3 years and to have worked with so many talented and committed people from across our health and care partners. I have seen how passionate people are about supporting each other and how dedicated they have been in caring for our population, during incredibly challenging times. We have a lot to do, but we are up to the challenge, and I look forward to working together to continue to improve the lives of the people of Norfolk and Waveney.”
