Primary care

Primary care includes general practice, community pharmacy, dental, and optometry (eye health) services.

There are 105 GP practices and five GP provider organisations (GPPOs) in Norfolk and Waveney.

Community health services

Community health services deliver accessible NHS healthcare services to adults and children in convenient places close to their homes and, where necessary, in their homes.

Some of the services on offer include health visiting, physiotherapy, district nursing and school nursing and immunisation, speech and language therapy and smoking cessation.

Through assessing, treating, educating and caring for local people, they aim to improve health, enable well-being and enhance the quality of their lives.
