Director of Nursing of the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB)
Tricia D’Orsi, is Director of Nursing of the new ICB.
Having originally trained at St Thomas’, Tricia joined South Essex Primary Care Trust as Clinical Education Lead in 2010 following her work as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in General Practice, specialising in diabetes care. In 2012 Tricia became chief nurse at Castle Point and Rochford CCG and held the role jointly with Southend CCG from 2018.
Passionate about nursing and elevating the voice of patients, Tricia has over 30 years of nursing experience and is a keen advocate for communities experiencing health inequalities and in particular those with learning disabilities.
Most recently she has held the senior appointment of Alliance Director for south East Essex, as part of the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System, where she has been a key driver of better health outcomes for the local population and is hugely respected for her knowledge and dedication to the NHS and wider partnership working.
Tricia says: “I am committed to putting our patients, people and communities of Norfolk and Waveney first. It’s vital that the health and care system works together to improve patient care and experience across the system.
“I am really excited by this opportunity, and looking forward to working with colleagues, patients, people and communities and partner organisations as we enter a new phase of the NHS and social care.”
