Work is underway with our three acute trusts, maternity and neonatal staff around allocated parents access to wards whilst ensuring the safety and wellbeing of other service users.

The purpose of the project is to enable parents to visit their birthing partner or baby at any time.

The benefits and outcomes of this project include.

• Improved experience for parents enabling them to access / visit their baby at anytime especially for those with babies in NICU.
