Live well – Healthy Changes

Healthy eating, regular exercise and having a healthy body weight will all reduce your risk of developing type 2 diabetes and help you to better manage your diabetes, if you have the condition.

Healthy changes start with little changes. Whether you want to lose weight, get active or quit smoking, NHS Better Health has lots of free tools and support.

Ready to Change Support

Ready to Change has been developed to help people understand unhealthy behaviours and then make changes, focusing on four of the biggest unhealthy lifestyle behaviours: alcohol consumption, physical inactivity, smoking, and maintaining a healthy weight.

“Ready to Change is a fantastic tool that offers a wealth of options towards achieving personal goals. I found it especially motivational for starting my fitness journey. It made me realise what level of exercise I should be doing and how healthy eating can really help too.” Brandon, 26, Gorleston
