Independent Non-Executive Member and Chair of the of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee

David Holt is Non-Executive Member of the ICB board and Chair of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee.

David has over 25 years of board experience, having held senior finance positions across both the private and public sector.  He has previously held roles at Unilever Plc, Coats Plc, where he was Chief Auditor, and Land Securities Plc, where he was Group Finance Director.

He has significant experience in finance, audit, governance, risk management and property. David is a qualified accountant and experienced Audit and Risk Committee chair.  He currently also holds non-executive roles at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and the Department for Work and Pensions. 

Previous non-executive roles have included Deputy Chair of the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, a board member of the Planning Inspectorate and Senior Independent Director at a North London NHS Trust.  David lives locally on the Suffolk coast.
