Allan is a Senior Manager at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust with responsibility for a Team of Contract experts. His professional training is Internal Audit where he has worked in both public and private sector practice. He has worked in and around the NHS for forty years firstly as a Community Health Councillor and also as a former Director at Relate and MIND. As an Auditor he has reviewed financial risk and Board level strategy at over 60 NHS hospitals and health organisations across England and Wales with a focus on Capital Development, Project Management and Procurement. His breadth of experience in County Council, Local Council, Central Government and the Educational Sectors means that he has a wide spectrum of experience to draw upon.

His involvement in South Norfolk & Waveney PLACE Board comes from a deep commitment to improving health through PLACE based solutions. He has a focus on driving service change and collaboration for the benefit of local communities.
