Originally from Lancashire, Dr Byrne attended St Andrew’s and Manchester and qualified in 1993. She spent a long time in hospital medicine before becoming a GP, working initially in the North West, moving to Norfolk and becoming a partner at Attleborough Surgeries in 2001.

In addition to the wide range of clinical work in a busy practice, Dr Byrne provides medical support to  EACH at The Nook. Hilary works with other GPs and local practices as part of a Primary Care Network and has been involved in the wider Norfolk Health and Care System for many years.

She is also a keen runner and enjoys skiing and walking her Shetland sheepdogs.
