Dr Faisil Sethi has been appointed as the new Partner Member representing NHS Trusts on the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB).
Dr Sethi joined Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) in September 2024 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer. He will begin his new position as a Partner Member representing NHS Trusts on NHS Norfolk and Waveney ICB immediately and is set to join his first Board meeting at the end of January.
Through his role as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Dr Sethi succeeds Caroline Donovan, NSFT’s Chief Executive Officer in this important system leadership role with NHS Norfolk and Waveney ICB.
Dr Sethi previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust, which was rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.
With over a decade of experience in NHS leadership, he has had various roles spanning operations, clinical leadership and executive leadership. Dr Sethi is a multi-professional leader known for his commitment to improving mental health and community services. His extensive expertise will support the ICB’s work in delivering integrated care across Norfolk and Waveney.
Dr Sethi said: “I am delighted to be joining the ICB Board as a Partner Member representing NHS Trusts. I am looking forward to working together with my fellow Board members and health and care system partners to improve joined up services for our local communities.”
