Background

The aim for this project was to support those who required oculoplastic surgery. The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital were able to offer patients choice on where to have their treatment in Norwich in June 2023.     The ICB were able to work with the NNUH to support those who had been waiting for their treatment as well as those who were newly referred.  

Project overview

The Protect NoW team contacted 600 patients over one week in July 2023 with 400 patients agreeing to be transferred to the new providers.   Patients have been booked in for consultations and surgery from August onwards.
