Giving feedback on care in a hospital 

There are PALS services are connected to the three local hospitals, through which you can provide feedback or make a complaint:

Giving feedback on care from your GP surgery 

If your feedback is related to your GP Surgery, you can visit their website for information on how to give feedback/complain. You can also feedback through your local Patient Participation Group (PPG) details of which, will be at your surgery.   

General feedback and complaints 

The NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) investigates, records and responds to compliments, complaints, enquiries and concerns from patients and members of the public. This allows local issues and concerns to be shared and provides opportunity for learning alongside our colleagues at other service providers in Norfolk and Waveney. Friends and family test 

Another way you can provide feedback on your care is via the Friends and Family Test (FFT). This is an important feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience. Listening to the views of patients and staff helps identify what is working well, what can be improved and how.

Sharing your experiences

Norfolk and Waveney cancer service patient user groups  

You may also want to share your experiences of care via the three cancer service user groups based at the main hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney. Patients, carers, and companions can help make positive changes and help improve local cancer services by giving patient’s a voice through their feedback and help the NHS improve services (contact details below). These groups work in partnership alongside the clinical and non-clinical staff to improve patient experience.

Cancer Voices Campaign in Norfolk and Waveney 

You can also share your experiences with us at the Integrated Care Board (ICB) via the Cancer Voices campaign, which aims to listen to cancer patient experiences.
